The filmmaker Kanu Behl who is the son of Lalit Behle revealed this news to the media. He said, “He passed away today. He had Covid-19 for the last one week, and it was complicated by his medical history. He had a history of heart ailments, so it got more complicated. He was admitted to Apollo hospital in Delhi.” After getting his death news, several celebrities paid tribute to him on social media.
Talking about his personal and professional life, the actor was born on August 15, 1949, in India. He was married to Navindra Behl and had one child with her whose name is Kanu Behl. He is also a famous filmmaker. When he was a college student, he started acting and won a contest in his college. He became a part of a theatre group named “Kapurthala” in Punjab. He also worked at the National School of Drama in Delhi when he completed his studies in theatres. He worked as a director and directed so many stage shows such as Chhatrian, Nayak Katha, Kumarswami, Suryast, Hara Samander Gopichander, and Kya Number Badlega.
He also directed so many Television serials including Afsane, Mahasangram, Ved Vyas Ke Pote, Viji, Khanabadosh, and Sada-Vadi.
