A terrible incident took place in Oakland in which one person is declared dead and another five people are badly injured. On Saturday, in Juneteenth Festival which was celebrating in Oakland, gunshots were fired, and after this is created a stampede. The festival is going on near Lake Merrit. This was the most dangerous incident which took a life of an individual. While the other five are in hospital as they were severely injured.
Shooting In Oakland Lake Merritt
Police claim that the reports they read of the incident consist of the fact that the gunshots fired in 2200 block at Lakeshore Avenue which took place at 6:22 PM. The cops also added that after this incident six victims were suffered, one if a 22-year-old lady and the other are five males aged between 16 to 27. A lady found dead from a gunshot wound. While five males are found injured after the mishap.
Whereas there is a repair from the sources that OPD is claiming that one more person was there who also injured during an event but he wasn’t shot.

OPD arrested 2 men w/guns. OPD Homicide Investigators will determine if the individuals are connected/responsible for this shooting.

An officer stated that just after the firing he saw, two males are running from the spot holding firearms. “Teo of them have been arrested with the firearms, said OPD.tHere was a crowd of approx 1000 people at the venue and the gunshot created a rush at the incident spot. People presented there were got panic and lose their calm.

Tonight when everyone us enjoying the most joyous festival it converted into a panic with the mishap of a gunshot. The police reached there, to help out the victims and they took the injured ones to the hospital, and also arrested two men with firearms these were seen running from the scene. The investigation is on the way and reality will be unveiled soon. Our condolence to the victim’s family who founded dead in the incident.
