Actor Kwak Min Gyoo will attend the Jeonju International Film Festival and brighten up the event.
The film ‘Camera of Summer’ starring Kwak Min Gyoo has been officially invited to the Korean Competition section of the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival. Accordingly, Kwak Min Gyoo will participate in the opening ceremony on April 30th (Wed) at 6:30 PM, as well as the ‘Camera of Summer’ audience discussion (GV) to be held at Megabox Jeonju Guesthouse 3 on May 3rd (Sat) at 5 PM.
The independent film industry has loved Actor Kwak Min Gyoo for his irreplaceable and delicate acting skills and has featured in various film festivals. He became known by winning the Best Actor Award at the 18th Jeonbuk Independent Film Festival for his role in “Tears.”
He then won the Best Actor Award in the Korean Competition category at the 20th Jeonju International Film Festival for his role in “The Boy Who Walks on Waves” and the Best New Actor Award at the 40th Korean Association of Film Critics Awards for his role in “The Headman,” proving his limitless growth potential.
In addition, Kwak Min Gyoo attended the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival with the film “Regardless of Us,” expanding his global influence. Since then, he has appeared in many notable works, including “Winter Outside” and “The Conversation,” and has shown off his realistic acting.
In this way, Kwak Min Gyoo, who has gone beyond being a ‘star of the independent film industry’ and is building his filmography, has announced his return to Jeonju with the film ‘Camera of Summer’, raising expectations. ‘Camera of Summer’ is a film that depicts the story of Yeoreum (played by Kim Sia), who picks up her father Ji-hoon’s heirloom camera again to take pictures of Yeon-woo, whom she fell in love with at first sight, but is confused when she encounters memories of Ji-hoon’s high school days.
Kwak Min Gyoo plays the role of Ji-hoon’s past lover, ‘Dumaru’. Expectations are high for what kind of emotional acting Kwak Min Gyoo will show in ‘Camera of Summer’, the Asian premiere film that will be screened for the first time in Asia at this Jeonju International Film Festival, and what kind of episodes he will share directly with the audience at the GV.
Meanwhile, the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival, which Kwak Min Gyoo is attending, will be held from April 30 to May 9 in Jeonju City, including Jeonju Cinema Street.
