Kingswinford Accident: Cops Hunt Van Driver As Man Injured In Hit-And-Run Crash: One more tragic accident news hit the headline of newspapers which draws the attention of everyone. Even after making strict traffic rules, the name of the accident is not taking the name to get stopped. As per the latest reports, a car crashed into traffic lights at the main crossroads in Kingswinford after a strike involving a van just prior to 05:00 AM on Saturday. After this collision, the car driver was immediately admitted to the hospital with “potentially major injuries” while the van driver run away on foot and is yet to be found. After this collision incident, the crossroads at the junction of High Street and the A491 Market Street, which is next to The Cross Inn, were closed throughout Saturday morning, 9th October 2021 as a consequence. Police confined the junction, where the car was left with major front-end damage after striking a traffic light pole next to Wombourne Windows. After the road was closed which result from the traffic was being diverted with heavy connection as lorries and buses were diverted along local roads.
A spokesman of A West Midlands Police stated that “A man has been immediately admitted to the hospital with potentially major injuries following a hit-and-run strike in Kingswinford. The collision has happened between a car and a van at the junction of Moss Grove and Market Street just prior to 05:00 AM. The driver of the van run away on foot following the strike and investigations or inquiries to trace him are still active. After the accident, the driver of the car has been admitted to the hospital for further treatment and assessment”
The statement further added “The road has been closed while inquiries are accomplished and it is requested that anyone who has any kind of information can contact us via Live Chat or by calling 101. Quote, log 564 of Saturday, 9th October 2021.”
After hitting the car driver, the driver of the van fled away and police are hunting him. The wanted driver abandoned his van at the accident spot and made off following the two-vehicle crash which has happened in Kingswinford.
