As per the statement from her agency Landscape Entertainment, per Sports Donga, the South Korean Diva, “unexpectedly died” earlier on Wednesday, 5th January 2022.

The firm did not share any information about the passing of Kim nor her cause of demise. Landscape Entertainment added in their statement that “The bereaved family is presently very heartbroken by the unexpected mournful news. We sincerely ask you to refrain from making up hearsay or speculative reports so that the bereaved family, who are in a big shock and grief-stricken, can admiringly celebrate the deceased.”

The statement continued, “According to the wishes of the family, the funeral will be held quietly in private. Please wish for Kim Mi-soo to rest in peace, and once again, we offer our deepest condolences to the deceased person.”
