Recently she appeared in a talk show titled ‘WithChude’ which is hosted by Chude Jideonwo. She revealed that she can not expose herself to bright light due to the disease that really affected her work or can be said changed her life completely. Kemi Afrabi talked about her disease in detail during the conversation with Chude, she said that in the beginning, she didn’t know about her problem, almost three months later she underwent various tests and checkups. Many doctors consulted her and asked her various questions but it was hard for them to say what the real problem in the last doctor tell her to do a test that was done in SA and she had to wait for two weeks to gain the reports of the test.”
She was quite smart to understand the severity of her disease as she had consulted with more than 15 doctors at that time and the reaction on doctors’ faces was worse than worse after reading her report. At last one doctor asked her ‘Do she want more children?’ and she replied positively. And then doctors told her as it could risk her life and doctors told her to stay away from lots of things as she was diagnosed with lupus which flipped her lifestyle.
