Kematian Zulfarhan’s death case: Six UPNM students were jailed for 18 years: There are six UPNM claimants who have been found guilty of charges of causing death without Zulfarhan Zulkarnain’s intentions, there have been a total of six students of the National Defence University of Malaysia who have been found guilty by the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Tuesday on charges of causing death without Zulfarhan Osman Zulkarnain’s intentions. High court judge Datuk Azman Abdullah was reading the verdict, he stated there are six of the accused who has been found guilty under section 304 of the penal code for the murder and abetting the murder of a spirit, the six accused are as follows- Muhammad Akmal Zuhairi Azmal, Muhammad Azamuddin Mad Sofi, Muhammad Najib Mohd Razi, Muhammad Afif Najmudin Azahat Mohamad Shobirin Sabri, and Abdoul Hakeem Mohd Ali.

There were 12 others who have been found guilty under section 330 of the penal code for wounding him, the late NDUM Marine Cadet Officer was said to have been abused with 80 percent burns before he died at Serdang Hospital on 1st June in the year 2017. There have been 19 UPNM claimants who have been charged with the murder of Zulkfarhan in rooms 04-10, Jebat hostel accommodation block, UPNM between 4:45 to 5:45 am dating 22nd May 2017.

One of the accused naming Mohamad Akmal Akif Alias has been acquitted of the charges of abetting and wounding Zulfarhan, the fate of the 18 claimants who have been charged with murder, wounding of UPNM Marine Cadet Officer, abetting the murder if Zulfarhan Osman today whether they are found guilty of the charges of if they are going to be acquitted.

The Conclusion

On 8th April, the defense closed its case after calling 18 UPNM claimants and two other witnesses, UPNM student Muhammad Alif Farhan Aerosni at the self-defense proceedings and Sungai Buloh Hospital Head of Forensics Medicine Dr. Rohayu Shahar Adnan which began on 2nd October in the year 2019. It seems like there are going to be further updates on the case in the coming times and we are going to be on our toes to provide you with further details regarding the story if something comes under our radar.
