So the last 24 hours have been pretty bumpy, a scare that meant Derek might have had to go back into the hospital (thankfully sorted by a visit from nurse/cancer), she told fans on Instagram. “He has also had one of his ultra fatigue days so has been too weak to do much other than sleep. “I burnt the parsnips ( Darcey’s favorite) & got the “wrong” Lego for Billy. “But now snuggled up around Dad’s bed watching #nativity everything feels suddenly perfect.
Earlier this week, after a difficult two years, Kate didn’t have any trouble raising a smile as she pushed Derek in a wheelchair on their way in order to enjoy an afternoon out at the pantomime with their two children. In the pictures which have been obtained by the Mail on Sunday, Derek flashed a smile for the cameras too.

He was seen outside for the first time since contracting Covid in the month of March in the year 2020, the family went to watch Cinderella at Richmond Theatre in West London on Wednesday, Kate admitted having Derek home for Christmas this year was “the greatest gift” she could receive.
“We had no idea whether he was going to live or die, praying that it was going in the right direction.” Speaking on the ITV breakfast show, Kate is at the age of 54, she told Richard Bacon is at the age of 46, telling about the extraordinary moment they realized the former lobbyist the Christmas.
Kate further added, “The dream would be to get Derek to Chorley. At the moment, moving him is a big problem: it’s exhausting for him. If not, maybe the Drapers could come to us for a big gathering, Covid permitting and certainly, I’ll be seeing the Garraways but my oven is broken so I’m not sure anyone wants to come to me.”
