Jerry Brown was born on April 7, 1938, in San Francisco, California USA. He was an American Democratic politician and also the Governor of California from 1975 to 1983. He stayed in the position of Mayor of Oakland, California from 1999 to 2007 and a California Attorney General from 2007 to 2011. His full name was Edmund G. Brown Jr.
In 1956, he attended his college at Santa Clara University where he has done a great job at the University. In every subject, he scored very good marks. Later on, when he finished University, he transferred to Sacred Heart Protestant Jesuit Seminary. And took the path of the president in 1958. However, he left the Seminary in 1960 so that he focused on the work. He entered the University of California, Berkeley where he majored in Classics BA in 1961.

At that time, he worked in the California Supreme Court of Justice Matthew Tobriner where he was learning and growing in his field. He was elected to the Los Angeles Community College Board of Trustees in 1969 and the following year was elected Secretary of State for California. During his four-year term, he drafted and lobbied for the California Fair Political Practice Act which was passed in 1974. In the same year, he was elected as a governor of California where he was succeeding in Ronald Reagan.
