James Cracknell Accuses Ex-Wife ‘Chipped Away’ At His Confidence Over Brain Injury Effects After Accident: One more disastrous accident hit the headlines of the newspaper and draws the attention of the world. As per the latest report, James Cracknell has spoken about the failure of his marriage accusing his former wife of “Chipping Away” at his trust following that he suffered brain damage in a tragic and horrific cycling accident. The Olympic rower, who earlier tied the wedding knot with his 2nd wife Jordan Connell, gets separated from former Beverley Turner in the year 2019 after 17 years of their marriage and having three children together.
In the year 2010, James (the double Olympic gold medalist) was engaged in a frightening accident when he was ripped off his bike by a lorry traveling around 60mph when he was busy cycling in Arizona. After this incident, his relationship with Beverley was affected as he suffered from an injury in the brain which left him with a change in his personality, epilepsy, and short temper.
With this accident, his marriage afterward broke down, and both get separated and went on the divorce. Presenting on the show of Channel 4 “Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins” James revealed about the separation and claimed his confidence was seriously impacted. The 49-year-old ex-sports star stated that “The assumption of having had a critical and serious injury is that then explains the rest of my life and you would not be to do that, you would not be capable to do this.”
“My wife, well now his former-wife-she is a stunning woman and a wonderful mother but she always watched me through the prism of that incident. For someone who you love the most and unconditionally to chip away at your trust and confidence and then me not to extend to mates and hideaway, you are left thinking … the worst and bad things about yourself. I have really struggled.”
Beverley and James stated about the recovery of athletes in his book, Touching Distance which was published in the year 2012. The ex-couple declared their splits 7 years later in the month of April 2019.
