But it was back with a bang as watchers got to watch Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Lionel Richie, and Amy Winehouse all take to the stage sort of. And it was the 3 singers who transformed into Amy Winehouse who reduced Sheridan to tears, with the acclaimed actress recalling her late friend who tragically passed away in the month of July 2011, aged 27.
The group of 3 ladies, who were dressed to represent 3 different iconic Amy moments, gave a rendition of Rehab prior to getting comments from the judges including soul singer Beverley Knight, comedian Jason Manford, and Queen star Adam Lambert. After their performance, host Olly Murs turned to Sherdian and asked: “Sheridan, I know you know Amy really well. What did you make of our Amys tonight?”

Wiping tears from her eyes, the Cilla and no return actress stated: “Girls, you are amazing. You know I did know Amy and she was so much more than the tattoos and the beehive. She was a gorgeous soul, a very misunderstood soul, but with the most unimaginable talent.” It is reported that the duo has become close pals after meeting in a queue for London club Proud Galleries in Camden.
Persisting to get emotional as she praised the singers, Sheridan stated: “I think you all really got that tonight. I think Patsy you got the sass. Emily, you are such a sweet girl, and actually so was Amy behind all the kind of agitation. And Ebony. the Sheffield girl, do not stop singing because your voice was a bang and I think you girls did Amy proud, so thank you so much.”
Last year marked a decade since the death of Amy. The singer, best known for songs including Back to Back and Rehab, passed away due to alcohol poisoning at the age of 27 at her house in Camden, north London on 23rd of July, 2011.
