As per the reports, Diether was driving his SUV along the southbound lane of the highway when he collided with a garbage truck. In the reports, it is mentioned that the garbage truck was temporarily stalled along the side of the road where the worker had gone to collect the garbage and trash.
As soon as the incident was reported, The Philippine Red Cross reached the accident spot and took the wounded actor to Makati Medical Center right away on the stretcher. The hood of Diether’s car and bumper were damaged after the crash. As per the reports cited by Inquirer News, responder Joey Alicante stated Diether looked like “he was resisting” to be brought to the hospital by the personnel of Red Cross.

The actor probably did not notice…It is positive, he was under the influence of alcohol.” The lethal incident has been under probe. However, there is presently no information concerning the health status of the actor. Apart from the actor, no one was wounded among the garbage collectors when the SUV of the actor hit their truck.
