IPL Auction 2021 Most Expensive List with Price: Royal Rajasthan bag Chris Morris for INR 16.25 Crore

The allrounder from Africa has become the most expensive amongst the overseas player’s list at the auction. The player “Chris Morris”s has the luckiest player on the IPL as he is the most expensive one in the auction. He was signed by Rajasthan Royals again for Indian Rupees 16.25 crore and in $ it is 2.2 million. The bidding had gone among the four different teams such as Mumbai Indians, and Punjab Kings. In 2015 Chriss first played for Rajasthan Royals and was the only team who scalped 13 that year.

As per the sources, Moriss overhaul eminent cricket players such as Pat Cumins by Rs 15.5 crore in the year 2020, Yuvraj Singh by Rs 16 crore in 2015, and Bem Stokes in Rs 14.5 crore in 2017. The CEO of Royal Jake Lush McRum had given a statement that “Moriss is an allrounder who can win a game for us with bowling and batting both. We have won the bid against Kings Xl and luckily got Chriss in our team once again.”

On the other side players such as Glenn Maxwell snapped for $1.95 million by Royal, whereas Jhye Richardson caught for $1.91 million by Punjab Kings, and if we talk about Riley Meredith he was auctioned for $1.09 million. For Glenn Maxwell, the bid started with Rs 2 crores and later it went further amongst the teams including Chennai Super Kings, and Kolkata Knight Riders, and it finally comes in the favor of Rajasthan Royals. Glenn had played for Punjab Kings for seven years and had scalped 1383 runs whereas the runs favored the team to set their foot in the finale 2014.

According to the reports, Punjab Kings tried their bid on Shakib Al Hasan with Rs 2.6 crore. But later he sold for Rs 3.2 crore to the previous team Knight Riders. And he won two titles in 2012 and 2014 for his former team. Punjab Kings had made their auction for players Dawid Malan, Richardson, For Rs 1.5 crore and 14 crores. Punjab Kings closed the deal at Rs 8 crore for Hobart Hurricanes Seamer Meredith for him they fought to Capitals who stucked at a bid of Rs 7.75 crores.
