The Income Tax Department raided the properties of Bollywood personalities including Anurag Kashyap and Tapsee Pannu in Mumbai and New Delhi. The officials search at least 30 locations in Mumbai and Pune. The raids are being regulated by the inquiry bureau at the site of the movie production house, Phantom Films.
The UIB minister Prakash Javadekar stated that ” The department investigate anyone on the basis of the information given to them by someone. And later the matter goes to the court after a complete investigation.”
Tapsee Pannu has always remained outspoken on many critics and also raised her voice against the ongoing farmer protests. She also reacted to Rihana’s tweet.
Pannu tweeted, “if a single tweet, a joke, and a show are able to rattle your faith for your religious belief, then you should focus on strengthening your value system to be strong as not let you accept such tweets.”
While both personalities have raised their voice against the governmental policies. While after this The minister Nawab Malik stated that, “This action has been conducted to squashes their voices.”
