Ilorin Airport Accident
As per the sources, a multiple auto crash in the Ilorin metropolis, the state capital of Kwara state in which a pregnant and eight others were reported burnt to death on Sunday morning. According to the exclusive reports of Tribune Online, it gathered several accidents, which happened along Ilorin International Airport road at about 8 am, involving a commercial passenger bus and a private vehicle. One of the vehicles which were involved in the accident was believed to have contained petrol-filled kegs.

Apart from this, it was also reported that eight people were survived in the multiple-vehicle accident with severe injuries. The sources in the state command of the Federal Road Safety Corps stated that the Lagos-bound passenger bus was loaded at the Gerin Alimi motor park, moving outwards the metropolis, while it collided with the private vehicle. It has been said that the private vehicle was coming out of the airport, which failed to wait for the oncoming bus to cross, when the crash happened, resulted of over-speeding.
It was reported that the vehicles engaged somersaulted and had type bursts. Talking about the incident, Jonathan Owoade, the state sector commander of the FRSC confirmed the development and explained the crash as unfortunate. He stated, “Incidentally, it was said that it was carrying fuel. I would surely get back to you with details, including registration numbers of the vehicles.” After the incident, the nearby people reported the police who immediately informed the families of the victims after their arrival.
