According to the actor’s family, Asghar has been ailing for more than 1.5 years and was admitted to the hospital in the past week after the deteriorating condition. The funeral prayers will be conducted after namaz-e-asr. The actor was born and grew up in the same city. Asghar began off his career in the showbiz industry as an RJ for Radio Pakistan, where he served for a decade from the year 1978 to 1988, following which he began acting in theatre productions.
