Mary Cook was the popular face of the TV Industry and was prominent for her witty-one liners on her shows, where she showed along with her best friend Marina Wingrove who is currently 90-years old. Mary Cook has demised at the age of 92 and her death news is confirmed by Channel 4 who declared the news in a statement that was released on Monday.
How Did Mary Cook Die?
They stated that “We are extremely in a pain and with a sad heart we are sharing the demise news of Gogglebox star Mary Cook. She took her last breath at the hospital this weekend at the age of 92 in the presence of her family. She will be dearly missed by the whole Gogglebox family, cast, and crew.” The statement further added that Mary was a beloved grandmother, mother, great grandmother, and best friend to many.”

Mary worked in the field of hospitality and had been married and also widowed twice. She met her best friend Marin at St Monic Trust retirement village above 10 years ago. In the year 2016, The duo joined Gogglebox at the beginning of series eight and became the most-watched and immediate admirers’ favourites due to their “brightly witty and often cheeky comments.”
After hearing the demise news of Mary, several Gogglebox stars took the social media to pay tribute. Shirley and Dave Griffiths stated, “So sad to know the demised news of Mary, she was such a lovely lady and so energetic, our thoughts are with Mary and Marina’s family #Gogglebox #MaryCook.”

During an interview with The St Monica Trust, Marina and Mary lastly unveiled that they were founded by producers while on their way to do some shopping.
