There has been a sad demise of Mark Weedon who is the former Bay of plenty Streamer. He retired from rugby in the year 2002 which happened after nearly 2 decades as he played in the top level for that long which he played both in New Zealand and also overseas. Weedon was working at Papamoa college, he was a relief teacher for the past two years which has been stated by the school on their official Facebook page. the statements went like this, it is with huge sadness we are informing about the sad demise of Mr Mark Weedon who passed away on 7th August on Saturday.

they further stated he was a great teacher which was the reason he made many good connections and relationships with the students and the staff and he always wanted the best for them and always wanted for their needs to be met. They ended by saying, they are going to miss him a lot at Papamoa College. The reason his death has not yet been revealed by the college or by his family and friends, we will keep you updated if something comes up the reason if his death but as of now it has not yet been revealed.
Papamoa Rugby Club has stated, he was always the first when it comes to putting up goalposts, marking lines, finding layers for the team, managing, getting kids to train, stock takes, and also he was also a chief greeter as they stated this on Facebook.
Rugby Player Mark Weedon Cause Of Death
He debuted for the Bay in the year 1986 when he was just a schoolboy at the age of 18 and he later on captained the club in the year 2001 and 2002. When he did his debut, he matches up against the captain of Andy Haden. Weedon played for the crusaders and Chiefs when it comes to Super Rugby and he was the one who led the team from the front and they won the major knockout trophy.
