He further added, “She took Broadway by a great storm at the end of 1960s featuring the eponymous character of Georgy and we all were proud when her name was nominated for a Tony Award. She was unconventional in many ways but was always fabulously warm, loving, and generous. “In her last days, she recollects stories of her life that we thought that she had forgotten. After battling with a long illness she has demised peacefully.” In the year 1970, Dilys was nominated for a Tony Award in the category of the best leading actress after making her debut in the music industry in Georgy on New York’s Broadway.
