As per the sources, an integrated homicide investigation team was located in Abbotsford, British Columbia, on Tuesday morning after a man was found dead inside the house. The victim was identified as 41 years old Chad Colivas who was shot and killed inside a home. According to the Abbotsford police, they were first called to the home in the 3500 block of Latimer Street at around 10 pm on Monday. When they arrived at the scene, they found a 41 years old man in the lower level of the home, he was suffering from life-threatening injuries.
After all efforts of the medical team, he was pronounced dead by the doctor at the scene. The police have released his name so that they could investigate further cases. They want to have word with the victim’s friends and associates so that they could find out about his activities in the days leading up to his death. The spokesperson from IHIT, Det. Cpl. Sukhi Dhesi said in a statement “We are in the infancy stages of our investigation; however, the early indications suggest that Mr. Colivas’ death is not associated with the Lower Mainland Gang Conflict,”
