One more accident news is coming from Kawartha Lakes and as per the sources, Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)  are currently busy in an investigation of a lethal collision which was happened on Highway 35 which is in Manvers Township.

As per the statement given by the Police in which they stated that on Thursday, 2nd September 2021 at around 3:30 PM officers responded along with EMS and Kawartha Lakes Fire to a three-vehicle crash which was happened on Highway 35, south of 7A. In the report, it is also mentioned that one driver was informed to be dead on the spot and one commuter was injured and immediately admitted to the hospital.

After this lethal collision, the highway is presently closed between Highway 7A East and Waite Road and it will be closed till the investigation is going on and the police gave advice to travellers to find some other ways for travelling and request the public to avoid travelling in this accident area. Some other details are available, though OPP issued this notification regarding the highway closure on Twitter.

According to their Tweet, “Highway 35, north of Pontypool, was closed between Highway 7A to Waite Road.

This week Kawartha Lakes has got to know the reports that Orange air ambulance has been called to the accident spot. The name and the information of the driver and the passengers are still not yet informed and the current status regarding the health of the injured passengers is also not available not even the name of the hospital is mentioned. Police trying to find out the lead to know how this accident has happened. Not even the information about the vehicle is informed. As soon as we will get to know the information regarding this lethal collision we will update here.
