Cameron Hamilton took her Instagram account on 29 August to announced the news of her husband’s death. She wrote on her Instagram, “It is with deep sorrow and an eternally broken heart that I tell you that the love of my life, Marcus Hamilton, has passed away.” She added that she learned by MPD last night that Marcus died after being hit by a drunk driver when he was on his motorcycle.
According to the reports, Marcus was hit by another motorcycle that was traveling in the opposite direction when it turned into Marcus’s path. Marcus was 37 years old and was died by the time when the ambulance reached the spot. According to the Commercial Appeals report, the driver was arrested and charged with grievous hurt/death, driving under the effect of narcotics, and failing to drive while in public intoxication.
