The psychological thriller web series-The Gone Game is again going to serve you amusement and a lot of suspense with its 2nd season soon. Actoress Harleen Sethi is now going to play the role of CBI officer in the series. The first season of the series was wholly shot from home during the COVID pandemic and was launched on the OTT platform Voot. This time, ALTBalaji star Sethi will entertain the viewers by solving the mystery in the series.
‘The Gone Game’ is originally an Indian web series. Its plot revolves around mysterious and suspenseful sequenced which are strong enough to make anyone stick to the screen. Its first season was successfully performed by Sanjay Kapoor, Arjun Mathur, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rukhsar Rehman, Lubna Salim, Indraneil Sengupta, and Dibyendy Bhattacharya and now all of them are returning with the second season. As the first season was premiered in August 2020, the sophomore chapter is expected to be available latest this year. Bodhi tree Multimedia Ltd. has not announced a tentative date of its release yet.
Harleen Sethi has done splendid performances in ‘Broken But Beautiful’, ‘Love’, and ‘Bites and Nice to Meet You of ALTBalaji. She told that she undoubtedly got impressed with the character when she found it impactful in terms of changing the male-dominant bureaucracy. She also accepted that the manner of solving the crime case systematically by the character is wonderful and she quite liked her sharp wit and empathetic personality. Sethi told that she has quite liked the character and she is enthusiastically ready to do the role. She said in her statement, ” The first season pushed the boundaries on what a lockdown pandemic could be and I’m positive this season is going to take it a notch higher. So I cannot wait to get started”.
Series producer Maultik Tolia revealed that the series will continue from where it ended in the last season. It will demonstrate the “Realities” of the current time. He is certainly hopeful for Herleen’s best performance in the series that could double up the excitement. His assumptions are so much likely to stand true.
Apart from this, we all know that web series have been emerging as the most addictive shows and a lot of new faces are building their fortune in the entertainment industry through them. The Gone Game is highly supposed to make Sethi some more famous. She is going to get new fans soon.
