As per the exclusive reports, the fatal car crash happened on the morning of 13 March around 10:30 am. The accident took the life of a 73 years old man and left another one injured. After the incident, the 73 years old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while another driver was transported to the hospital immediately. It was confirmed by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) that crews had attended the emergency with medics from London Air Ambulance, however, in spite of their best efforts, the 73 years old victim passed away at the scene.
The authorities have reported that they believe the man who died was driving a jaguar, while another man who was hospitalized was driving a Mercedes. However, the 32 years old man has been arrested on a suspicion of crimes including driving under the influence of alcohol. The investigators from the Metropolitan Police Roads and Transport Policing Command are now dealing with the investigation after the crash on 13 March 2022. Emergency services were immediately called to Hacton Lane in Upminster, Havering at about 10:30 am which has eventually been closed in both directions.
It was also confirmed by the Havering Council that the officials were at the scene on Twitter. They tweeted, “Due to an accident that police are investigating in Hacton Lane, Hornchurch, the road is currently closed. Avoid the area if you can & find alternative routes.” TFL (Transport for London) has confirmed that an accident happened on Hacton Lane on 13 March at 11 am. As per the motoring organization, the emergency services and the AA are focusing their efforts between Derby Avenue and Little Gaynes Lane.
