As per the reports, there have been multiple traffic collisions that took place on the Glen share Road as storm Eunice led to unreliable driving conditions on some Northern Irelands roads. Snowfall occurred overnight and as well as throughout the morning in the Northwest. Snow Ploughs were working to keep the A6road clear that was busy between Derry and Belfast. There is a video that has been circulating on social media platforms in which it was shown how numerous cars were involved in accidents. It was several road traffic collision.

In the video, one car can be seen door knocked off while another car was damaged on its front bumper. Apart from this other motorists were seen leaving their vehicles at the side of the road as their vehicles were stranded on the mountain. The police reported that they arrived at the scene of multiple road traffic collisions on Glenshare Road because of hostile weather conditions. In a statement, a spokesperson said that no individual needed medical treatment. The Glenshane Road is open and is passable with care as of now.

In the morning of 18 February, two further yellow weather warnings were issued for wind and ice in Northern Ireland, the spokesperson. The storm has wreaked havoc across the country. Till now, several flights have been canceled at the George Best City Airport including Exeter, London, and Leeds Bradford. A flight was canceled to Leeds Bradford which was scheduled to be departure at 07:15 at Belfast Internation Airport. Although, there are no schedules are available for several flights.
