“From Gocheok Dome to Coachella” Kwon Jin-ah will create ‘The Dreamist’

Singer Kwon Jin-ah, who achieved independence, is moving towards her ultimate dream. The sound recording session for Kwon Jin-ah’s third full-length album ‘The Dreamest’ was held on the 25th at a cafe in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.

‘The Dreamist’, which will be released at 6 PM on this day, contains 10 songs written by Kwon Jin-ah by gathering various emotions that are hidden to achieve her dreams. With ‘Reunion’ and ‘Let Me Go’ as double title tracks, Kwon Jin-ah’s signature ballads are presented with different energies and narrative structures.

Jinah Kwon, who is releasing a full album after 6 years, said, “I was a bit late with the full album because I kept releasing singles and mini albums. I have more diverse music than ever before. I will tell a new story within my ballad identity.”

Above all, this album is Kwon Jin-ah’s first since leaving her agency Antenna, where she had been for 10 years, and establishing her label, so it is expected that we will be able to hear her music expanded even further.

Regarding the reason she left Antenna, Kwon Jin Ah said, “I was 17 when I appeared on ‘K-Pop Star. ’ I was so young and didn’t know anything, but I learned a lot after joining Antenna and became who I am today.” She continued, “After 10 years, I’m in my late 20s, and I wanted to try something new. My dream was to create my label. I persistently searched for who I am, and I wanted to strengthen my identity, so I founded my one-person label.”

He continued, “I paid close attention to every little thing in this album, from track 1 to track 10. The songs that contain my core message are ‘New Footprints’ and ‘Wonderland.’ I will continue to live as an artist who can cheer others on.”

Kwon Jin-ah plans to continue her own independent music world with her solo concert ‘The Dreamist’ to be held next month. She added that she is determined to expand her performance venues, as befitting the album title that created the expression ‘Dreamyist’, the highest level of dream, meaning that she will continue to dream and eventually achieve the greatest dream.

He said, “As the album contains various genres, we are planning to have a variety of stages for the concert. I think it will be more fun than ever, including performances. This concert will be a lot of laughs.”

While saying, “I’ve been doing this for a long time since I was young, so my dreams, personal and professional selves, are not separated. Since being a singer is my life, my ‘highest dream’ is to perform at a bigger venue,” he said. “I’m performing at Jamsil Indoor Stadium this time, and starting from there, I want to go to the KSPO Dome and Gocheok Sky Dome. I vaguely dream of even performing at the ‘Coachella Festival’ stage shortly.”
