AM Gokhale loses his life this Sunday at the age of 75. According to the sources, he passed away due to the Wuhanvirus. Neiphiu Rio, chief minister of Nagaland Shared Emotion Note on Social Media He said that his death is a big loss not just only for his family but also for Nagaland. After knowing this, his colleagues are giving him soulful tribute to him by posting his pictures on social media.

Achyut Madhav Gokhale was real of him. He was a writer, Indian civil servant, and former Nagaland chief secretary. He took birth on January 03, 1946, in IndianĀ  He was mainly known for working as a social worker. He was associated with government policies such as Jawahar Rozgar Yojana and Village Development Boards. He also worked in Swaminathan Research Foundation as an executive director. He served as a chairman at the Ministry of Environment and Forests in the Genetic Engineering Approval Committee.

In 1990, he was awarded the fourth highest civilian award of Padma Shri for his path-breaking work. He has gained huge popularity for his contribution to government initiatives. He was the founder of Nagaland Environment Protection and Economic Development. He raised a strong and dedicated team to run the foundation. Now, he leaves the world on April 18.
