Such heartbreaking news is coming from the city of Melbourne where a Cheltenham family is in grief after a mother and two of her kids were killed during a crash. This incident happened when their motor vehicle collided with a pole and burst into fire on a busy inner-city road. According to the investigators, the 35-year-old mother of four children and was traveling south along Flemington Road which is in Parkville about 10:00 AM on Friday, 20th August 2021 when her Ford Territory bangs a curb and collided into a pole.

Gerard Clanchy, Detective Senior Sergeant, pf the major collision investigation unit stated that the woman and her two children who are reported as one 8-year-old and second one is just only 20 months old boy could not be able to saved and demised on the spot. Officer said “When it involves a mother and her two younger children….it is disastrous. It is hard to get any words to explain what has happened here today. I have lost all my words and could not able to say anything on this.”
Investigators and the senior officer spent much of their time on Friday at the incident scene trying to find a piece together what causes this dangerous crash. Senior Sergeant Clanchy stated they believed the lady left her family home which is in Cheltenham in the southeast of Melbourne around 8:50 AM to drop two of her kids at their school, prior to continuing to the Royal Children’s Hospital with the other two kids.
After departing the hospital pharmacy there were engaged in a slight crash prior to continuing along Flemington Road. Senior Sergeant Clanchy stated that A few hundred meters later, the lady appeared to lose control of her car before banging into a tramway pole at speed. He said, “We believe she was moving towards heading home when this disastrous event has taken place.”
The senior officer stated that the crash was mainly confronting and witnessed by many people. He to persuade those who might have seen what happened to contact their closest police stations where they could be put in touch with the services of counseling. He also said many people who were presented in the area at the incident time and had tried to help. This incident would have been a very disastrous event for people to have watched. Sadly, there was nothing for anyone to do in this. It happened so sudden and quick, the vehicle was inundated in blaze very quickly as well.”
