A piece of Breaking news is coming from the Uttrakhand district Chamoli. On Sunday, a glacier burst in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district Reni Village. Being told that because of the glacier burst, a massive flood takes place Dhauli River near Reni village. The danger is increased also for Rishikesh and Haridwar, these towns are on high alert. At the Rishi Ganga hydroelectric power project, many workers were working. The news coming that after the incident, the laborer is missing from the place and so far no contact with them. The cops of Uttarakhand are announcing the alert in Chamoli district’s riverbank settlements.
As soon as the administration gets the information about the incident, the teams of ITBP and SDRF personnel reached the spot to save the people who are stuck or missing due to this incident. The people who are placed at the Alaknanda riverbank in Karanprag are instructed to move from the place as soon as possible. Rishi Ganga and hydroelectric power project are completely destroyed. All the boat and Rafting managers are instructed to stop their service. On the other hand, Srinagar Hydro Project is instructed to come down the flow of lake water.

This major tragedy was confirmed by the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat. After knowing the news, he reached to spot. He instructed the police and disaster management department to control the situation immediately. The chief minister said, “Government is taking all necessary steps”. The Chief Minister also congregated an urgent meeting to take some immediate decisions and to direct the rescue and relief teams.
This is being told that after the glacier break, dams are completely destroyed, because of that the flood has come into the river. Also, the Tapovan area is also full devastated. The administration of Srinagar appealed to all riverbank settlement’s people, to shift to a safe place. Also, the people are placed, who were working in the river. On the other side, after the flood, the flow of the Dhauli river is also completely stopped. The water is increased in the Garhwal river. We hope that all the stuck and missing will be found soon.
