Erin transferred her power of attorney to the name of Anne Marie, her close friend. Her family and close friends are expressing their sorrow on social media handles and continuously sending their prayers and love to her family and close ones. Erin was 38 at the time of her death.

Talking about Erin Gilmer, she was a well-known lawyer and disability rights, activist. She was 38 years old. She was traveled all over the country to get the right to those people who suffered from health issues and unable to treat themselves due to financial problems. She was graduated from the University of Colorado Law School. In 2005, she graduated with degrees in economics and psychology with a minor in political science and international emphasis.

Erin also worked for the AHRQ (Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality) and PCORI (Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute) as a patient reviewer. She is also known for working at MedicineX conferences of Stanford University where she worked as an ePatient scholar in 2012 and 2014. She has also given her contribution to many publications including Virginia Journal of Social Policy and Law, IBM developerWorks, the Texas Bar Journal, Virginia Journal of Social Policy and Law, Health Law and Bioethics, and many more. She was a very kind-hearted woman who loves to help others. Erin Gimler passed away on July 7 in Centennial, Colo. May her soul Rest In Peace.
