Saher Bamba Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas interview
In an interview to Times of India, Sahar said – ‘Coming to Mumbai was a big risk. Because I had neither a friend nor any relative here. I did not even have a film connection. I always wanted to become an actress. Luckily my parents were very supportive. Talking about my struggle, it started right after coming to Mumbai.
‘I had to take admission in a good college. Along with this, food and lodging also had to be arranged. Which was the biggest problem. Finally I got a room, which I had to share with 8 girls. Apart from this, traveling was also a big issue. I was not used to traveling on local trains. However, it gradually became a habit. After college, I started traveling from Churchgate to Aram Nagar for an audition.
Sahar said- ‘The biggest difficulty here was to meet whom, where to meet. During this time I met all kinds of people, good and bad, who gave me false hopes and made false promises. However, luckily I never fell victim to casting couch. After eight months my struggle was over and I got near to heart every moment.
