Emu Plains Accident: There is a female pedestrian who has died after she got hit by a truck on the Great Western Highway at Blaxland early in the afternoon, it has been confirmed by the authorities that emergency services were called off to the section between Layton Avenue and View Street at 2:20 pm. The NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the woman at the time of the incident but even after their constant efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene, traffic diversions have been in place and the police have advised motorists to avoid the highway if possible. If we talk about the current situation, the crash investigation unit is at the scene as of this point in time, there are emergency services and transport for NSW crews, there has been a second accident which has been recorded at the Great Western Highway at Punt Road, Emu Plains which involves a motorcycle, it occurred at 3:30 pm.
There were various emergency crews which are on the scene and the highway seems to be closed to Westbound traffic and it seems like Eastbound traffic is also affected, there are a lot of informative points which have not been stated as of this point in time by the authorities.
