According to the sources, the Police has found a resident where they found a woman and an unidentified man dead. The dead bodies have discovered inside one of the flats at the Spire San Diego building at 1475 Island Ave. After the investigation, it has come out that the two were shot and killed fatally on Thursday night. Lieutenant Andra Brown said in a statement on Thursday night, the woman who is 28 years old was a resident of the building. However, the Police are trying to identify the man as he was not a resident.

Shortly after the killings, the patrol officers have arrested another resident of the same building who had informed the police about the shooting. According to Brown, when he walked with his 5-year-old daughter on a nearby freeway. The officers arrested him for questioning and his daughter was taken into protective custody. He added that the girl was in the building but she didn’t reveal how the two victims and detained drivers are connected to each other. The police reached the spot at around 03:10 Pm after being reported by the detained person.

Bernardo Bustamante, another resident of the building stated that he was walking to an elevator with his family inside the building and when he passed a nearby resident, he was asked by him if he heard the sound of six gunshots. He added that he thought, the sound was of construction work. He said that he come out of the elevator with his family and searched for the officers in the lobby with long rifles who instructed them to go out of the building.
