As the second season of the popular animated series was ended in the month of May, the fans were waiting for the official announcement of the 3rd season of the series. Finally, the streaming platform of the series officially announced the release of the 3rd season. Though, by the time that the bankroll on the finale, admirers throughout the world already knew what the future held for the series. The 3rd season of renewal was actually declared all the way in the year June 2020 a few weeks prior to the 2nd season even premiered. Though, not many watchers will be too surprised by the renewal of Amphibia with the series remaining one of the most popular original animated names on the Disney Channel. Impressively, out of 20 episodes, only 5 episodes from the 2nd season have received the score on IMDB around 9 out of 10 along with an average rating for the animated series sitting at an astonishing 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Talking about the renewal, Meredith Roberts, Senior vice president for Disney’s Television Animation stated that “Matt’s vision, genuine storytelling and indisputable passion for his characters have to get out the insane world for Amphibia to life for children and families throughout the world.
Amphibia Season 3 Release Time
On Saturday, 24th July 2021, it was unveiled that the 3rd season of Amphibia would most probably be released on Saturday, 2nd October 2021 at 9:30 AM EST. This date was confirmed by Screen Rant who also informed that the 1st episode would have a “special extended-length”.
3rd season of Amphibia will be accessible through the Disney Channel and Disney Now service. As per the report, the third act will see “Anee and the Planters shipped from Amphibia to her native place of Los Angeles.”

The 3rd season of Amphibia will have a variation of guests stars who made a cameo, such as RuPaul Charles and Whoopi Goldberg.
