Venkatesh Prabhu’s (knows as Dhanush) movie ‘Karnan’ is going to be released soon and film’s director Mari Selvaraj has announced on Twitter that there is coming to a big update about the movie tomorrow. It is supposed that the makers might reveal Dhanush’s first look in the movie as they had earlier promised this New year. Earlier, the movie was announced with a poster highlighting Dhanush riding a horse with a sword in his hands. The movie will star Rajisha Vijayan, Gauri Kishan, and Lal along with Dhanush.
Dhanush(Full name Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja) is an Indian actor, director, writer, producer, lyricist, screenwriter, and playback singer who is mainly connected to Tamil Cinema. He has contributed remarkable performance in various hit Tamil movies including ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota’, ‘Vada Chennai’ ‘Maari 2’, ‘Raanjhanaa’ and ‘The extraordinary journey of a Fakir’. He is blessed with multiple skills that have made him a popular star. His upcoming movie, Karnan was announced by music composer Santosh Narayanan, who recently watched the movie and described that he was quite impressed with it. A poster illustrating Asuran star had grabbed the attention of a vast audience and it is being estimated that this movie would not stay in between hate and like as the director’s previous movie Pariyerum Perumal was.
The Kollywood movie is touted to be a rural drama and it has Rajisha Vijayan in the leading role, besides, Mollywood star Lal and Gauri Kishan of 96 fame will also be in key roles. Dhanush is currently shooting his yet to titled movie with the leading role of Malavika Mahanan under the direction of Karthik Naren. As far as Mari Selvaraj is concerned, he anticipates ‘Karnan’ to be a successful hit movie this time after his slight failure with Paiyerum Perumal. Along with Tamil movies, Dhanush has nicely performed in Hindi cinema too as we saw in Ranjhanaa and his upcoming movie in the same will be ‘Atrangi Re’ where he will be seen with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali khan.
