Who is David Carrick? Metropolitan Police Officer Arrested charged with rape:Â There is a metropolitan officer who is going to be appearing in court today after he got charged with rape, this has been stated by the Hertfordshire Constabulary. PC David Carrick who is at the age of 46, is based within the Met’s parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command, he has been charged on Sunday.
Who is David Carrick?
At the time, he was off duty in Hertfordshire at the time of his arrest which happened on Saturday and he has been suspended on the same day by the Met police, there was a referral which was made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, it has been stated by the commissioner Cressida Dick, he is deeply concerned after hearing the news today.
He stated he is shocked that an officer from the Met’s Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command has been arrested and is being now charged with a serious offense, he stated, he fully recognizes that the public is going to be very concerned too, criminal proceedings must now take their course so he won’t be able to comment any further on the case in hand.

It seems like this is a shame, such an important part of the force has been arrested, the public is outraging on the internet and they are thrashing the police officer as he has been charged with rape and the investigation is going to move ahead, there is going to be a thorough investigation and there are going to be further revelations in the case as the case heads on.
