There are some reports that have come to the light about Tornado that has appeared in Colorado. Colorado Tornado Today Warnings
On Thursday afternoon, severe weather swept by the front range. There were three tornado warnings were also posted in the Denver metro area around 3:00 PM. There was thunder in the front range with severe thunderstorms, thunder, and lightning, as well as brief and hail but heavy rains. In Arvada, Westminster, and Broomfield, hailstones ranging from pea to a quarter-inch in diameter were recorded. 11 counties along with the metro area remained in a grip of strong thunderstorms till 8 PM.
According to the reports, the storm shifted to the Southeast from the northwest along with the Front Range. A funnel cloud had been seen but one reported about touching the bottom. The hailstorms damaged the roof of several greenhouses of the business in Broomfield front range gardens. In Denver, three tornado warnings have been placed in the afternoon, firstly for the southeast of Boulder, northern Jefferson County, and northwest of Denver, the next was for Interstate 76 in Weld County along with north of Denver International Airport, and the final was for Douglas County near Castle Rock.
The tornado warnings were applicable till 4:15 PM in Elber and Douglas counties. As per the reports of the National Weather Service in Boulder, the warnings were ended the earlier afternoon for Denver, Arvada, Fredrick, Fort Lupton, Thornton, Westminster, Brighton, Broomfield, Frankton, and Parker. Due to the ominous weather, the warning sirens had been activated in Brighton and Adam County. On 20 August, NWS tweeted, “Severe thunderstorms and Tornado Warnings are currently in effect for the Front Range Urban Corridor. #cowx”
There is a possibility of more rain and thunderstorms in the evening and night in the metro area. Till 11 PM, a tornado watch was deployed for far northeastern colorado that includes the cities of Holyoke, Sterling, Julesburg, and, Akron.
