The police revealed that Cleo’s family has realized at 06 AM that Cleo is missing when they woke up. The campsite is near to blowholes at Point Quobba, around 875 km north of Perth and 75 km north of Carnarvon by road. After getting the reports, Emergency services continue their search for the girl who was missing from a campsite in Western Australia’s northwest yesterday.
The police also launched an air, land, and sea search for the girl yesterday along with state emergency services crews from Carnarvon, Shark Bay, and Geraldton also joined the police. A total of 22 SES volunteers also become the part of search with community volunteers, drones, helicopters, and an Australian Maritime Safety Authority jet that is providing aerial support.
Apart from this, rescue volunteers, marine search, and fisheries officers are also searching Cleo underwater. The detectives have also been involved in the search from Carnarvon, Geraldton, and Perth who are examining the area with forensics officers from Perth. Inspector Jon Munday stated that the police had been collected a lot of details regarding the girl’s missing and at this point in time, they are leaving any slack.
