There have been six sequels till now and the audiences have never got bored of the franchise Child’s Play 2, Child’s Play 3, Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky, and Cult of Chucky, all of them have been written by Don Mancini. In the year 2021, the original creator of Chucky is going to be back to oversee the Doll’s way to the small screen, Jake Wheeler is a 14-year-old outcast who wants to be an artist just like his deceased mother who is working on sculptures currently by using doll pieces but his father doesn’t approve of his profession who is an alcoholic.
Let us start with the positives, the puppet looks stunning, the audiences are pretty glad that they did not try to make him digital, Chucky should always be real Doll, the first episode has been difficult because we know who Chucky is and everyone was just waiting for him to start talking.
The audience was waiting for him to start off by creeping them and then killing people, in the first episode, he does nothing of this sort until the end of the first episode which was excruciatingly frustrating for the audience as he didn’t do anything until the end of the episode.
The audience needs to understand that this is going to be a series and there is going to be built before the doll goes on a killing spree, series are based upon good built-ups, and then then the series takes off from that point in time, this is a common pattern which has been seen in many of the series.
There are going to be flashbacks throughout the show, it is being done in order to make the audience connect with the story which many of them must have forgotten as it has been some time since the movies came, there is no denying the fact that the series is going to gain huge numbers because of the popularity of the character, we will keep on updating you further with the coming episodes.
