The ban is going to keep on extending as this is for the fourth time that the ban has been extended as it was first imposed on 22nd April after Canada was in fear as the second wave of COVID-19 and there were high concerns for the Delta Variant.
Canada India Flights Ban
It seems like that the Canadian government has gone to extend the prohibition that they have done for a while now on the flights that are coming from India, it was being stated earlier that the ban is going to be scrapped off on 21st July but now it has been extended to 21st August.
This is going to be the fourth time that the Canadian Government has extended the ban since the time it started on 22nd April as the country was going through a rough time with the second wave hitting the country and there were some big concerns which were over the delta variant of the coronavirus and that is the reason that they are being really cautious about the flights that are being allowed to enter the Canadian premises.
They have also gone on to extend the requirements that are related to the third country covid tests which are directed towards travelers who are going to Canada from India who is coming through a route that is indirect.
It is going to be mandatory for the passengers who are coming from India to have a negative RT-PCR report which should be a pre-departure report before they continue on with their journey to the land of Canada.
It has also been announced by the Canadian government that if the situation is going to remain favorable then they are going to allow people to enter the Canadian premises who are going to be completing the full course of vaccination with the Canadian government and for the people who are going to be meeting the specific requirements.
The situation can remain the same if the Coronavirus is going to keep affecting the lives of the people as the government is fully aware that this is about the lives of the citizens of the country and they cannot take a step in a fast manner just because they are extending the ban, again and again, it is pretty clear that if the authorities think that they need to extend the lockdown then they are not going to hesitate.
