There has been a sad demise of Brian Henderson who has died at the age of 89 as he has lost his battle to cancer. He has been hosting the show Sydney Weeknight for the media agency Nine since he started off hosting the show in the year 1957 and he was still hosting the show in the year 2002 when he retired. that gave him the title of becoming Australia’s longest-serving news presenter, he even hosted a bandstand from 1958 and all the way to the year 1972.
