BPCL Dividend Payout Date 2021: BPCL stock & F&O strikes adjust to the mega dividend, BPCL Q4 net profit at ₹11,940 cr!


Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL)  announced its records consist of amount rs 12,581 crore dividend, while more than half of the amount of recorded divined will go to the government, before the privatization of BCPL.

BPCL has been stated to the regulatory filing, “We received a recommendation from the Board of Directors which said the assured dividend of Rs 58 per equity share for the FY (Financial Year) ends on 31st March 2021, by keeping in mind for the permission of shareholders.” One more point to be noted that the dividend of Rs 35 will be per equity share of rs 10.

Special dividends of Rs 7592.38 crore are included in the total dividend of Rs 12,582.66 crore. Hence the government is for the selling of their 52.98 percent stake in India’s most essential company Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), as after its government will receive the number of Rs 6,665.76 crore also including dividend distribution tax.

As per the declared dividend of Rs 12,582.66 crore, the profit or an interim dividend of Rs 21 is paid earlier in the fiscal.

Does the company explain the reason for the declaration of dividends?

No, the BCPL hasn’t unveiled any sort of reason behind the declaration of the dividend of Rs 12,582.66 crore. But here we have the data that had been received by the firm:-

  • The government gained a profit of Rs 9,876 crore from the sale of stock of 61.5 percent in Numaligarh refinery in Assam to a consortium of Oil India Ltd, Engineers India Ltd, and the Government of Assam in March.
  • The firm had been purchased the estimated equity of 36.6 percent from the Oman Oil Company (OQ S.A.O.C) for the profit or interim dividend of Rs 2,399.26 crore.
  • The company has been gained a profit of Rs 7,477 crore by their last two deals hence this amount is almost matching to the declared dividend of Rs 12,582.66 crore.

Profit gained by BPCL:-

In the fiscal year ended 31st March 2021, the company made a profit of Rs 19,041.67 crore with its stake sale and also including higher refining margins along with the accruing booming oil prices.  After the ending of the financial year of 2020 to 21, the company BPCL  has got or earned the Net profit in whole year INR 19,04.67 crore with the help of the stake sales, along with that higher refining. This profit is also compared with the previous year’s profit, it was the big change or achievement for the company to raise its profit11,40.13 crore from 2,777.62 crores a year ago.
