Ben Best was born in September 1974 in the United States. He completed his education at the University of North Carolina School of Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She studied with his collaborators Jody Hill and Danny McBride. He co-authored and co-created “Eastbound & Down” along with his long-time writing partners Danny McBride in which they starred Kenny Powers, a former professional baseball pitcher who come back to his hometown school to teach physical education.
Ben wrote and co-starred in The Foot Fist Way with Danny McBride and Jody Hill. He appeared as Clegg in Eastbound & Down’s eight episodes, he was the drugged-up local bartender of the town and Kenny’s friend. He also wrote a film titled “Your Highness”. He appeared in many films including Land of the Lost, Superbad, Observe and Report, What Happens in Vegas, and more.
