Belvidere Triple Homicide
According to the reports, the incident took place at 628 Union Ave on Sunday night (19 December). The police were reported to the scene at around 09:45 pm, where the police found three people died, a father and his sons. The investigators found four bullets casings inside the home. Now, the police have been searching for the person who is responsible for the incident.
Belvidere Police, Chief Shane Woody said that they are investigating this case as a triple homicide. He added, “The landlord had received contact from the boys’ mother and she was requesting that the landlord go check because they were unable to make contact with Andrew or the sons.” At the scene, the police have found three bodies that were of 31 years old Andrew Hintt, and his two sons who are five and seven years old. They were shot to death, the police said.
Woody said that they have found 9mm shell casings from the incident scene, there is no weapon has been found. He added that the incident spot is still secure. Apart from this, Andrew Hntt owned an SUV, a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk which is missing from his home and is expected to be stolen. Neighbors said that they had often seen the kids playing outside. They said that they are heartbroken after hearing the news.
One of the neighbors said that he is hurt deeply as he has seen the kids before and he knows that now they are not here anymore. He added that the kids were just heart-wrenching. The police have been investigating the case and trying to find out the culprit. The police have also asked the local public to help them to find Hintt’s vehicle that is with Illinois plates “CT92923”. They asked the residents not to approach the car if they see it anywhere.
