Batla House encounter: Delhi Court Convicts Accused Ariz Khan For Murder of Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma

The court of Delhi has been alleged the culprit Ariz Khan in the murder case of inspector Mohan Chand Sharma, Ariz name also connected to the Battala House Encounter in 2008.

Batla House encounter

Ariz Khan was arrested for Indian Mujahideen Operatives which is happened in 2018 related to the Batla House encounter. The punishment will be announced on March 15, 2021.

The Delhi Police have been carried through an encounter in Jamia Nagar Batla House on September 19, 2008. While two terrorists of Indian Mujahideen has been killed by the Delhi Police on 19 September.

Shahzad Ahmed was the one who shootout at Batla House and later he escaped along with Khan. Their two partners have died in the event were Atif Amin and Mohammed Sajid. Whereas the third one had arrested by the police at the incident spot.

In that event, Delhi’s officer founded dead therefore two officers got injured. As per the reports, judge Sandeep Yadav has declared that the JUdgment will be passed on Monday. And the judge has assembled the warrant against Ariz Khan.

The disheartening event that happened after 7 days of five serial blasts arose on 13 September 2008, in which approx 30 persons were killed while more than a hundred people got injured.

The encounter took place due to a misleading incident against political parties. Many political parties are involved in the incident. The event was disheartening as it was a bomb blast in which many individuals lost their life. While the culprit was hiding in the flat in Jamia Nagar.

After the incident or mishap, people used to run a rally or protest against the Batla House encounter, protesters including professors and students of Jamia Millia Islamia University.

Inspector Mohan was appreciated with Seven gallantry medals in 2009. While he was awarded the title Ashok Chakra on 26 January 2009. Later the court announced the decision in the favor of Delhi Police and police personnel.
