The All India Council for Technical Education also known as AICTE and Amazon Internet Services Private Limited (AISPL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to undertake the marketing and resale of AWS in India. AICTE is a statutory unit that works under the Ministry of Education. This agreement also consists of promoting machine learning and cloud computing in universities across India and encouraging students to learn skills of machine learning and cloud computing in their higher education studies. The chief Coordinating Officer of the All India Council for Technical Education named Buddha Chandrashekhar said, “Digital skilling on forthcoming technologies at a nationwide scale is an essential priority for the Education Ministry. Skilling, our learners in machine learning and cloud computing is especially vital to not only ensure employability for our students but also to build capability in these crucial skills that will define the industries of the future”.
