There has been a shameful event that has taken place in Westminster which has taken place on Monday as there has been a protest which was directed towards anti-lockdown and anti-vaccination and about 11 people were arrested in the protest, Protestors were chanting ‘freedom’ as all of the protestors were gathered in Parliament Square and this has happened after the coronavirus restrictions have been lifted in England.
Anti Lockdown Protests London
There was a police officer who had no choice but to lock the entrance gate which was of Parliament Square and the people were glued to the gate as they were holding the signs of anti-vaccination and also anti-police messages which is just stupid at this point in time as these restrictions have been done to save the lives of the people but it seems like that there are some people that are just there to question the government, doesn’t matter what happens.
There were constant chants that stated “arrest Boris Johnson” and “shame on police” which was the theme of the protest it seems as if the situation is not already worse because of coronavirus and now there are people who are against the government when the government is putting on restrictions and making new policies to protect the lives of the people.
What Happened at Anti Lockdown Protests London
The police were asking the protestors to move away and to clear out the road as it is getting unsafe for everyone at the time as the cases are still happening and it has been happening for 16 months but it seems like that the people were least interested to what the authorities were saying.
The rule of ‘one meter plus’ has been scrubbed off by the government as of 19th July which happened in England but for safety reasons, there have been some rules that are still going to be intact for the safety of the people.
Social distancing is going to be intact until people are going to be positive to corona and until people are self-isolating but some people seem to not understand the seriousness of the situation and that is why the chaos took place in Westminster.
