Another TikTok Star Sandhya Chauhan Commit Suicide After Siya Kakkar

Recently a lot of people have been suffering from depression and anxiety. During the lockdown, many cases came into the limelight where people tried to take their own lives as they couldn’t cope with the stress and pressure revolving around them.

The most famous and controversial case which happened recently was Sushant Singh Rajput committing suicide. The news created quite a buzz in the media which fueled topics like nepotism in the industry.

Then later we heard a Tik-Tok star named  Siya Kakkar, committing suicide. Reports say she was suffering from depression. Now again one more Tik Toker named Sandhya Chauhan committed suicide. Sandhya, who lives in Delhi’s Green Park died by suicide. Sandhya was very social and was an active member of Tik-Tok.

Recently the Indian government placed a ban on 59 Chinese applications. This included  Tik-Tok as well. Tik-Tok had a huge fan base and active users in India. According to the reports, the reason behind Sandhya committing suicide is the same. The active Tik-Tok user was very upset about the government banning the application in the country. This made her take her own life.

She was very active on TikTok and was a student of Delhi University. Sandhya Chauhan’s father is a policeman.

These are just speculations taking place, but the real cause of her death is not yet discovered. The banning of an application can not provoke anyone to take such a drastic step in taking their own life. Sandhya’s mobile police have taken possession and the body has been sent for postmortem.

According to the media report, Sandhya’s family lived in the Green Park colony of the Pallallapuram police station area. The family had been living here for six months. However, the sub-inspector at home lived with his wife and son. At about 5 p.m. on Thursday evening, she went to her room and killed herself.

Reports also say that when Sandhya committed suicide her mother was also at home. The incident was reported at the police station by Sandhya’s cousin. Modipuram outpost in-charge Vikas Chauhan rushed to the spot and entered the door break room. She was taken to SDS Global Hospital and was later pronounced dead by the doctors. After that, her body was sent for postmortem.

There were tensions and fights going on within the family. The reason behind Sandhya taking such a step could be one of these. There were no notes found in Sandhya’s room which could tell why she had to kill herself. Her family in the investigation told the police that she was suffering from depression from the past two months. The reason for her depression was unknown.

Depression is like cancer it kills you slowing from within then provokes you to take such drastic steps. So before taking any such steps do think about what your family might go through as a result of this. Also, people suffering from depression should be supported and motivated at all points of their life. They may seem normal to everyone but deep down they are having a tough time in their lives.
