Anannyah Kumari Alex, a first radio jockey transwoman of Kerala, even contested for the state assembly polls, has been found dead at her Kochi apartment in the evening on Tuesday. Police os claiming that it is a suicide case as she is founded hanging on her fan inside her room. She was 28 years old.

Whereas, police sources stated that “this is suspecting to be a suicide case but the investigation is still on. So, more to be confirmed related to the case.” She registered FIR against a doctor and in this she stated that she has some health issues following sex reassignment so, she was going through surgery last year. And she also accused the doctor of harassing her during surgery.
Veena George a health minister of state, has been ordered for an inquiry o the death of Anannyah. Ministry stated that the experts will be looked into a matter of her Sex reassignment surgery. The directors have been called to the platform to start an inquiry. Whilst the state association of the transgender also sent a complaint in this matter.
Her words were, “I am suffering from some medical negligence, and if I talk about the private part of mine then it looks like a meat piece. It doesn’t have any resemblance to a vagina. I want to reconduct my surgery and even looking forward or justice.”
Facing these health issues she passed away on Tuesday.
