The fencing from the Tokyo Olympics is in the headlines after they were seen in the tournament wearing a pink mask to protest against the sexual assault against one of their teammate. The protest is against their teammate which took place on July 30, Friday. We have seen three players in the pink maks as their fourth teammate is Alen Hazdic. He had been faced an allegation of molestation from the three women and the case is still under investigation.
Who is Alen Hadzic?
The three team members including Jake Hoyle, Curtis McDonald, and Yeiser Ramirez are seen covering their faces by donned the maks of pink color to stand with their culprit teammate. Who had been molested by the three women? Whares Hazdic saw accompanied their teammates by wearing a black mask. They faced a defeat against Japan by scoring fewer points, whilst Hazdic was the one who was seen confronting his team members.
Alen Hadzic is 29 years old and he has been told by the USA team that I would not mind if you call it a Pink Protest. He has also given a statement in which he had been said that “they never come to me asking a story of my side. Not even they tried to know how I used to felt at that moment.”
Know about the player Alen Hazdic:-
He is an athlete in fencing and currently playing in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. He got graduated in 2017, from Velric Business School which is situated in Belgium. He also graduated with a B.A in Economics from the Columbia University. He had been alleged for the sexual assault by the three women these claimed that Hadzic tried to abuse them sexually at Columbia University.
After the investigation, Us Center ordered to suspended the Hadzic from the team temporarily. But the judge, Sherrie Krauser launched her statement and said that his suspension can’t be done as it is inappropriate as per the allegations on him. And he has been allowed by the judges to perform in the Tokyo Olympics. So he had to stay away from his team in a separate hotel which away from the Olympic place or village.
Then his teammates come forward to take a stand for him. while his fellow team member distributing pink mask he asked him to give him a pink maks only instead of black. Hadzic also claimed that it was so embarrassing when I got to know the reason behind the pink maks.
